so cold but sunny

Almost half way through February and so far the coldest month of this winter, I'm looking forward to going south train in Georgia! For those of you you who don't follow the weather in Northern Canada winter starts in October with an average temperature of about -15 to -20 until April when it starts warming up. The last couple of weeks though have been rather chilly with the average being between -35 and -45 and remember thats without wind chill! I leave the 14th and I am hoping the weather forecast is correct in saying it will be "warm" since Air Canada won't fly into Whitehorse if its colder than -40. But hey I could be even farther north right now where its been -48. That may not sound much colder but think of the difference between +20 and +30 in the summer .
